What this board measures
Tiers are for your first few public matches. A class in a lower tier can still decide a round when the map favors it. Agent is last because the kit is unforgiving, not because the class cannot work.
A tier
Player decision Best first life if you want to see the fight. Do not chase Flankers across the map.
Player decision Start here if you want a weapon that punishes groups. Learn the rocket jump after you can hit feet consistently.
Player decision Pick Arsonist on indoor maps and when your Mechanic is being bombed. Spy-check teammates who are not shooting.
B tier
Player decision Play him once you can choose when to leave a fight. He is a bad first class if you stand still and reload.
Player decision Use him when your team keeps dying on the walk back. Spread the buildings apart.
Player decision Queue Doctor when fights are long and someone else is already on the objective. Heal hurt players before topping off a full overheal.
C tier
Player decision Only start here if you already want to practice aim. Otherwise you will spend the round scoped at a wall.
Player decision Wait until you can place stickies and still watch for Flankers. Self-damage makes him a poor panic pick.
D tier
Player decision Learn the objective on another class first. Use the Agent tutorial before you buy a lower-health knife.
