Standard modes

Public matches are objective games. The class you pick should match the job on that map.

Payload

One team escorts a cart through checkpoints. The other team delays it. Pervade’s update notes name checkpoints A, B, C, and Last, so a payload map can have several stops rather than one finish line. On defense, stand where you can see the cart and still fall back. On offense, a Doctor and a Brute on the cart are harder to move than five players chasing kills in the enemy spawn.

Control Points

Both teams start with two points. The center point starts neutral and is the only point unlocked at the buzzer. Capture every point, or have more points when time expires. If a point is partially captured when the clock hits zero, the round goes to overtime until that capture finishes or decays.

Flanker’s official tip says he captures objectives twice as fast. That is the class to send at a point that is about to flip, not the class to leave standing in a minigun’s range.

Attack/Defense

Attackers take points and successful captures add time. As of the June 10, 2026 patch, capturing a point too quickly no longer reduces the time that gets added.

Capture the Flag

Each team has a flag to take and a flag to keep. Turbine, Doublefort, and 1979 Effect are CTF maps. Do not treat a flag run like a deathmatch: a Flanker who grabs the flag still dies to one Marksman if the exit is a long sightline.

King of the Hill

Hold the hill. Risky, added February 17, 2026, is both a King of the Hill map and a Vs. Bosses map. Exact hill timers depend on the map and were not copied into this guide.

Arena

Arena changes Funds math: 1 point equals 1 Fund, instead of 3.33 points per Fund in other modes. The per-round Funds cap is still 70.

Other queues

Player Destruction, Team Deathmatch, Medieval, Infection, Prop Hunt, Randomizer, Equally Randomized, and Vs. Bosses show up as alternate or side modes. Medieval and Vs. Bosses both disallow some weapons and replace a banned weapon in your loadout with a default. Competitive was added August 8, 2025, uses Control Points, King of the Hill, and Payload, and was renamed Competitive Practice Room on December 21, 2025. Its Control Points rules add a 30-minute timer that does not grow when points are captured.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the two teams?

RED and GRN. You pick a team on the team selection screen before the class screen opens.

How many classes are there?

Nine: Flanker, Trooper, Arsonist, Annihilator, Brute, Mechanic, Doctor, Marksman, and Agent. The class screen groups them as Pick, Power, and Support.

Are there working codes right now?

The code menu is real, on the gift icon of the team selection screen. The documented list has no active codes. Every archived string is expired, out of copies, or manually disabled.

How much does a weapon cost?

Most weapons in the Fitten Co. Store cost 10 Funds. A three-weapon bundle costs 15 Funds, which is half the price of buying the three weapons separately.

Does Typical Colors 2 have voice chat?

The public Roblox listing marks voice chat as not supported. The controls reference still lists T as push-to-talk when Roblox voice is enabled. Use the in-game settings screen to see whether voice is actually available on your account.
